Mission Statement

The Foundry USA is a Minnesota-based 501(c)3 non-profit corporation

dedicated to addressing the immediate needs of men recently released from a correctional facility, with the ultimate goal of breaking the cycle of recidivism.

More so than other classes of individuals, men with criminal records face discouraging obstacles to gaining a legitimate livelihood.  Long after having supposedly repaid their debt to society, such men continue to endure an overt form of prejudice and discrimination that prevents them from becoming productive members of society.  Excluded from the opportunities available to those without a felony conviction, ex-offenders become more of a liability than an asset to their families, and their communities at large.  The Foundry seeks to re-enfranchise this condemned segment of our population by opening doors and building new pathways toward long-term stability and sustainable success

It seeks to achieve this goal by:

  • Fostering self-reliant attitudes and behavior,
  • Giving advice in investment management and personal finance,
  • Helping men attain a driver's license and insurance coverage.
  • Encouraging a sober, responsible lifestyle.
  • Integrating AVP values into daily life.
  • Facilitating a smooth transition from an institutional environment to
    civil society.

Conflict Resolution Workshop
Our communities are under going change demographically .  The war on violence and crime is a growing concern in most communities.  It's also our organization's focus - giving special attention to issues we are due to having to be faced. There is a lack of information which we will present by reflection and discovery - taking ownership by performance in positive efforts to deal with the major issues through awareness.

Abraham Lincoln said
Do I not destroy my enemies
when I make them my friends? -

John F. Kennedy  said
"Liberty without learning is always in peril;
learning without liberty is always in vain".

Convince your friends there's no need for Violence and our site is of value to them.

Policing ourselves is not a new idea, it's a good idea that we want to make a practice of.
Having nothing to snitch about is having nothing to do with having a need to. Those that make habits of crime tell on themselves.
